Ashton Gate is Bristol’s largest stadium, with a 27,000 capacity including 35 meeting rooms. The venue can now open up WiFi access to create a range of commercial opportunities on matchdays. As well as providing a new platform for applications, NetOS® gives programmability and security options to enable consistent, reliable internet access in all situations. This meets end user demand for match days and conference events throughout the year.
The use of NetOS® means that despite large concrete and metal structures, or huge numbers of users on a given matchday, the stadium will be able to deliver high-speed WiFi continuously.
This project is an exciting step for sports stadia worldwide, as large venues look for better access to reliable, high-speed WiFi networks for their customers and own commercial applications.

The METRO-HAUL consortium, where Zeetta Networks is a partner, has been successfully awarded a €7.78m EU funding to investigate cost-efficient optical metro networks to meet the challenges of 5G backhaul. The bid is a collaborative project comprised of 21 partners representing the “who’s who” in the European Telecoms industry.
