Zeetta Networks to demonstrate end-to-end QoS controlled SDN with Accedian at Mobile World Congress 2017

Zeetta Networks announced today that it will showcase its innovative Software Defined Networking (SDN) platform in combination with end-to-end performance assurance technology from Accedian at Mobile World Congress 2017 in Barcelona.

Zeetta Networks will show the combination of the highly programmable control plane from its NetOS® platform alongside the flexible data plane of the Accedian SkyLIGHT solution.

As more telecommunication operators and individual enterprises choose to adopt ‘disaggregated’ networking architectures, the need to unify control and management across different networks for an ‘end-to-end’ provisioning of services is becoming a necessity. In the showcased demonstration, the highly granular end-to-end SkyLIGHT performance assurance platform from Accedian provides a vital real time Quality of Service (QoS) data model to NetOS®. This enables automated, dynamic path selection based on application requirements and a complete awareness of network topology.

Commenting on the need for networks to respond automatically to real time QoS challenges, Zeetta’s CEO, Vassilis Seferidis said:

“We are delighted to include the SkyLIGHT technology from Accedian in our showcase at this year’s Mobile World Congress. Network operators and enterprises struggle to cope with the ever increasing demand for data and intense competition.  Zeetta’s multi-layer network control allows heterogeneous networks to scale up as required to meet the demand for data and to control many thousands of new devices without escalating operating or upfront capital costs.   Our NetOS® platform is able to dynamically reconfigure the network resources in real time based on feedback provided by Accedian’s award winning performance assurance technology. The combined solution brings an unmatched level of flexibility and automation as the network can now be programmed by third party systems that no longer need to understand every individual network element. Most importantly, the resulting network platform can react -in real time- to changing network conditions to meet the expectations of end-uses and applications.”

Zeetta Networks will be exhibiting at MWC 2017 in Hall 5, stand 5D82 as part of the UK Government’s Department for International Trade, Great Britain Pavilion.  Find out more about Zeetta Networks advanced networking software on our website www.zeetta.com or follow us on Twitter: @ZeettaNetworks.
